| The Robertson Genealogy Exchange Brunswick County, Virginia, Deed Book 3, 54, 55, 56 This Indenture made the Twenty ninth / Day of June in the Year of our Lord Christ one / Thousand Seven hundred and forty five Between / John Robinson of the County of Brunswick of the / one part and William Brodnax of of Prince George / County of the other part Witnesseth that the said / John Robinson for and in Consideration of the sum / of Eighteen pounds Current Money to him in hand / paid the receipt whereof the said John Robinson / doth hereby acknowledge and for other good Causes / and Considerations him thereunto moving he the said / John Robinson hath Granted bargained and Sold / Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain / and sell unto the said William Brodnax his heirs and / assigns all that Tract or parcel of Land and / plantation Scituate Lying and Being in Brunswick / County Bounded by the Different persons here / mentioned (viz) on James Walkers' Land he Bought / of William King John Coller Land Henry Wilkins / Land William Gowers and Cage Perry's Land / Containing Three hundred and fifty one acres the / Land here mentioned is the Land Whereon the / Church stands and the Land which the said John / Robinson Bought of Richard Hockebe now in the / possession of the said William Brodnax and the / Reversion and reversions remainder and remainders / rents and Services thereof all the Estate Right Title Interest Claim and demand whatsoever of him the sd / John Robinson of in and to the same premises and of / and in and to every part and parcel thereof To have / and to hold the said Tract and parcel of Land / and plantation and premises above mentioned / with the appurtenances unto the said William Brodnax / his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said William Broadnax his heirs and assigns / for ever and the said John Robinson for himself his / Now the Condition of the above Indenture is such that if the said / John Robinson his heirs or assigns shall well and Truly pay / or Cause to be paid unto William Broadnax his heirs and assigns / a Certain Bond Bearing date with the above Indenture for / thirty six pounds to be Discharged with paying Eighteen / pounds and all the Charges which may or shall accrue on the / above Indenture with Lawfull Interest on the Twenty ninth / day of June next insuing the date of the within Indenture that then the / within Indenture to be Nul and Void otherwise to Remain in / full force power and virtue Source: Brunswick County (Virginia) County Clerk, Deed Books, 1732-1869, Deed Books, Volumes 2-3,1740-1749, FHL microfilm 30641.
