This Indenture made the Sixth Day of Decbr. One thousand Seven / Hundred & forty Nine Between Israel Roberson of Granville County North / Carolina of the one part and John Roberson of the aforesd. County and province / of the other part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of a sum to his / hand paid whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge the receipt & hath granted barga / =ined & Sold unto the sd. John Roberson his heirs & assigns forever a Certain / Plantation and all that part of my Land on the West side of little Creek be / = ing part of a Certain Tract of three hundred Acres more or less of Land whereon / the abovesd. John Roberson now lives Situate lying and being in Granville /

County aforesd. To have and to hold the sd. Land Hereditaments and / Premises with the Appurtenances unto the said John Roberson his / heirs and Assigns forever and the said Israel Roberson for him self his / heirs Testors & Admtors doth Covenant grant & agree to and with the sd. / John Roberson his heirs & Assigns by these presents in manner & form / following that John Roberson his heirs & Assigns shall and may from / time to time and at all times forever hereafter Peaceably and Qui /=etly have hold Occupy possess & enjoy the aforesd. Land Tenements / and premises with the Appurtenances before herein Mentioned to be / granted without any let Trouble Molestation Interruption of Israel / Roberson or his heirs or any other person or persons what ever having / or lawfully Claiming to have any Estate Right Title Interest Claim / or Demand of in & to the same & Every part thereof & that freed and / Acquited & discharged or well Sufficiently [Paid?] and kept harmless by / the sd. Israel Roberson his heirs Testors Admtors for ever In witness / hereof the sd. Israel Roberson hath hereunto these presents set his hand / and fix?d his seal the day and year first above written.
