To all people to whom these presences shall come I Israll Roberson of Granvil / County in North Carolina Know ye that I Isral Roberson Sr. of divers causes & consideration / me hearunto moving but more espicilly for the love good will & affection which I have / and do bare to my son Isral Roberson Jr. have given granted alined conveyed & con / = firmed and by these presences do fuly freely & absolutly give gant [sic] convey & confirm unto / him the said Isral Roberson his heirs & assigns for ever one tract or parcil of land contain / = ing three hundred & twenty acres by estimation be the saim more or less lyin in / Granvil County on the Soht [sic] East sid of Smiths Creek & the south side of the Rede Branch / begining on the sd. branch thence and East corse to a corner pine thence a North corse to a / red Oke thence by a line of Nich Robersons which was made within themselves to the / sd Redy branch to a corner poplar thence up the sd branch to the begining with concludes / the settlement that the sd Isral Roberson now lives on which is the Case of a Survas of land / that the said Isral Roberson savd and securd in that plase To have and to hold for ever / the said given and granted premices with all the appurtenances privileges & comod = / = ties to the saim belonging or in any ways apertaining with all houses orchids / gardins clear ground woods pasture ground waters water corses & all other liber = / = ties privileges therein & thereon containg to him the said Isral Roberson Jur. his / heirs and assigns forever his and ther only proper use benefit & behof for ever and I the said Isral Roberson Sr. for my self my heirs Exrs. Admrs. do covenant promis and grant / to & with the said Isral Roberson Jur. his heirs & assigns that befor the ensealing & deli / = vering hearof I am the true Sol and Lawful owner of the above given premices and am / lawfully seazd an possessed of the same in my own proper right in a good perfect & abso / = lute Estate of Inheritance free simple & have in my self good right full power & lawful atho / = raty to give grant convey & confirm the said given & granted premices weneveras abovesd. / and that the said Isral Roberson Junr his heirs & asigns shall & may from time to time

at all times forever hearafter by free & virtue of these presences lawfully peaceable quietly / hold use occupy possess & enjoy the sd given & granted [interlined: premices] with that apurtenances free an clear an / clearly aquitt escourated & discharged of from all former & other Gifts bargins sails leases / mortgages wills intails Joyntures dowers Judgments executions incumbrances & Esteaks / farthermore [interlined: I] the said Isral Roberson Sr. for myself my heirs Exrs. & Admrs. do covenant warrant / and ingage the abovesd. land & premises with all profits & intrusts thereon depending to him the / said Isral Roberson Jur. & his heirs forever against the lawful claims or demands of any per = / = son or persons whatever for hearafter to warrant secure and defend In Witness whereof I hearunto set my hand and Seal this first day of February 1759.
