George the third &c To all &c Know ye that for divers good causes and / Considerations but more Especially for and in Consideration of the sum of / Thirty Shillings of good and Lawful Money for our use paid to our / Receiver General of our Revenues in this our colony and Dominion of / Virginia We have Given Granted and Confirmed and by these presents / for us our Heirs and Successors Do Give Grant and Confirm unto / Abraham Robinson one Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Containing / Two hundred and Eighty five acres lying and being in the County of / Lunenburgh on the South side of Roanoak River and bounded as followeth / to wit Beginning at nathaniel Robinsons Corner red Oak in the / County line thence on his line North thirteen Degrees East two hundred / and twenty eight poles Crossing a branch to a white Oak thence new / lines East one hundred and Eighty poles to Pointers South Two / hundred and twenty poles Crossing several small branches to a / Hickory in the County line thence on the said line West two hundred / and forty two poles to the first Station With all &c To have hold &c / To be held &c Yielding and Paying &c Provided &c In
